What do you see when you look in the mirror?

Do you see somebody you like?
Do you see wrinkles, make-up?
Fancy clothes?
Nice hair, tousled hair, no hair?
Sadness, joy?
Comfort, pain?
A smile, a growl?
Satisfaction, dissatisfaction?
A good person, a bad person?

What do you see?

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27 , NLT)

Is that what you see? Do you see the image of God? Do you see the person God created, the way he planned you to be?

They say that the camera never lies, and the mirror is the same, though maybe we don’t always see the truth it speaks. If the mirror can see the real you, then everyone else can too. What do they see?

What do people see when they look at you?

Since you were created in the image of God, what do you make God look like?

And if God ever looks in a mirror, what does he see?

Does he see you?
