\"a<\/a>The Hebrew for the start of this text is “Roll your way upon Yahweh.” It makes me think of those vehicles which lay tracks in front of them, so that they can move forward over a bad surface, and so that others can follow the same way.<\/p>\n

The photo I have attached to this post is a wooden path running through a mudbank. So often in life we find ourselves in mud. Even if we don’t sink totally in it, mud really slows us down. It messes us up, and then we make a mess everywhere we go after we get out of it. Sometimes the mud looks so deep and dangerous we won’t even think of stepping into it, and so we don’t get anywhere, or we have to take a diversion which takes us well off course.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t have to be that way. If we roll our way on to the Lord, we can cross the mud in total safety, but – and it’s a big but – we cannot bring the mud with us, no matter how attached it is to us – or we to it! After all, we don’t want to make a mess of God’s floor, do we? <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
