There is a saying that no man is an island. It’s true. Over the last few days I have been thinking about how everything I do has an effect on me, but I also have to remember that everything I do has an effect on the people around me, both those who are close to me and those who are, perhaps, perfect strangers.<\/p>\n
That applies when I am in church and when I am out of it but it is so much more important when I am out of church, when I am dealing with people who are not part of any church, people who don’t\u00a0know Christ. Failure to show them the love and hope that I have in Christ will be a disgrace on me and is just what the enemy wants.<\/p>\n
He wants me to be bad to the people around me. He wants me to fail in showing them the love that surpasses all things. He wants me to fall and fail.<\/p>\n
My life has to change by remembering that I am not an island and that everything I do and say has to show my faith in such a way that people outside the church see something special and want to know more.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
