Organizations and individuals who are duped or defrauded by the identity thief can also suffer adverse consequences and losses, and to that extent are also victims.”<\/p>\nI reckon that I am very careful with my personal details, shredding everything I can, and thinking twice before I fill in a form. I have never suffered as a result of ID theft, and I hope (!!!!) that all my actions will save me from any loss.<\/p>\n
BUT, I realise now that it is not just my earthly identity which is at risk. There is a bigger identity thief than all the thieves in the world put together – the devil himself. I think that he is intent on robbing me of my identity as a child of God! Just as in earthly ID theft, this can have an effect on others – those I should be praying for. He has been saying to me that I cannot pray for the sick, that I cannot see miracles at the end of my hands, that I cannot be a history maker.<\/p>\n
Lies, all lies! The Bible tells me that I can, because God can, and because his power is at work in me. Christ is in me, and I am in him. If I am in him, I can see the signs and wonders at his hands.<\/p>\n
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.<\/strong> (Eph 3:20-21, NLT)<\/p>\nI agree, I cannot do these things on my own, in my own steam, but there is no limit to God’s power: he can always do much more than I can ever ask for. So I should be asking for more and believing for more and expecting more, and seeing more! It is time to take a stand, in Christ, and declare to Satan that he will not <\/em>have my identity, that he will not, cannot stifle God’s mighty power at work in me! It is time to take a stand and pray in Christ’s wonderful name for miracles and, instead of wishing for them, speaking them into being!<\/p>\nI am me! I am a child of God!<\/p>\n
