The descendants of Joseph came to Joshua and asked, “Why have you given us only one portion of land as our homeland when the Lord has blessed us with so many people?” Joshua replied, “If there are so many of you, and if the hill country of Ephraim is not large enough for you, clear out land for yourselves in the forest where the Perizzites and Rephaites live.”

I don’t pray enough, but sometimes I pray when I shouldn’t. Sometimes, instead of praying, it is a time for action, doing it myself. God will not do for me what I can do for myself. God will not do what he wants me to do.
I should, for instance, pray for someone’s salvation but God will expect me to go and speak to the person, to show the love of God. He will give me the strength that I need and the ability that I need, but I need to play my part.
